The Arts

Alongside filmmaking, Rob Perrett’s wider creative practice plays an important role in the development of Microscopic Cog Films.

This work includes drawing, painting, sculpture and other forms of visual creativity, with each piece contributing to the broader identity of the company. The aim is not only to produce individual artworks in their own right, but also to create an additional income stream that can help support future film projects, while attracting new audiences to the work of Microscopic Cog Films.

The arts also provide another way of introducing people to the company. An artwork may be the first point of contact for someone who later discovers the films, the campaigns or The Cog Diaries. In that sense, the visual work is both creative output and part of a wider strategy for building recognition, interest and long-term support.

This page is currently under development and will be expanded over the coming weeks as the main content of this site and Cog Diaries settles in. It will eventually feature examples of Rob’s drawings, paintings, sculptures and other creative projects, together with information about availability, future releases and how the artwork connects with the wider work of Microscopic Cog Films.
